Athletes of Color Coalition
The Athletes of Color Coalition, also called ACC, was formed in the spring of 2019 as a way to enhance the experience of students of color's athletic experience at Trinity by building a more safe and more diverse environment. The group of five students who founded the group did so after noting that Trinity did not have the same support groups for athletes of color as other NESCAC schools have. The coalition consists of a student-run E-board with positions such as President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Social Chair.
The group works to create a network between athletes of color and inspire discussion. This is done through releasing newsletters that highlight the accomplishments of athletes of color, organizing recruitment events, holding informational sessions with presenters, and hosting more bonding-focused events like Superbowl Watch Parties.
