Elms Society
The Elms Society honors those who have included Trinity in their estate plans (meaning a portion of their assets are donated to the school) or who donate through a special gift to the college. The name is a reference to the elm trees that are planted on Trinity's Main Quad, and pairs well with the Long Walk Societies, which are also donation-based, with levels of membership named after Trinity buildings and locations.
Trinity recognizes members of the Elms Society by posting a current list of all alumni that are a part of the Society on its website. Members are also invited to special events with the other donation-based societies during annual reunion celebrations.
