 The building is named after Jerry Hansen '51, who served as both director of alumni and college relations and later secretary of Trinity, working for the school for over 30 years. Even after retirement, Hansen remained very active within the College community. His continued involvement resulted in this dorm, a crew shell, and a squash court, all named after him.
