Park Place Hall

A student dormitory located at 187-189 Allen Place in the North Campus area. The dormitory, which is a converted apartment house, was formerly known as Allen West.

In 1982, in an effort to name the “nameless” dorms on Trinity's campus, a committee, with student and administrative input, voted to name the dormitory Park Place Hall.

In 2019, Park Place and the adjacent dorm Boardwalk Hall closed for extensive repairs and renovations totaling over $2 million. Extensive interior upgrades were needed. The dorms had earlier received exterior renovation upgrades in 2012.

These renovations removed the two dorms from the student housing lottery and left 50 students on a waitlist. To accommodate the shortage of on-campus housing, the Dean of Students allowed more students to live in off-campus housing.
