Trinity College's first squash court was introduced with the completion of the Trowbridge Memorial in 1931. The sport began the next year.

Trinity's women's squash team first competed at the National Women's Squash Championship in 1979, under coach Roy Dath.

A new squash complex opened on campus in 1992, located in the Ferris Athletic Center.
