The dormitory consists of single rooms and four-bedroom suites, which include a common room, but unlike other upper-level suites, have no private bathrooms. Each floor has two communal bathrooms and a community lounge shared by all residents. Three Community Advisors live in the building. Construction on both the 44,000 sq. ft. dormitory and adjacent gathering space known as the [[cornelia_center|Cornelia Center]] was completed in 1997. The buildings were designed by architect Tai Soo Kim, who is internationally recognized and [[hartford|Hartford]]-based. ---- ===== Sources ===== [[https://www.publicartct.org/artwork/vernon-social-hall-vernon-place-dormitory/|Public Art CT: Trinity College Vernon Social Center, Vernon Place Dormitory]] [[https://www.trincoll.edu/bantam-network/residential-learning-community/living-at-trinity/neighborhoods/vernon-place/|Vernon Place-The Bantam Network]] ---- [<>]
