Hansen Hall is a dormitory for upper-level students located in the “Vernon Street Neighborhood,” which also consists of Doonesbury, High Rise, North Campus, Ogilby Hall and Vernon Place. It features four floors with a mix of single and quad rooms. Constructed in 1988, the building was originally referred to as the Vernon Street Dorm and Social Center.

The building is named after Jerry Hansen '51, who served as both director of alumni and college relations and later secretary of Trinity, working for the school for over 30 years. Even after retirement, Hansen remained very active within the College community. His continued involvement resulted in this dorm, a crew shell, and a squash court, all named after him.
