Nest Artists is an organization formed in 2020 by student artists to who wished to create an inclusive space for students to gather, create, share, and express themselves in a variety of creative mediums. The Nest Artists also promote and organize art-centered events, and invite others to create in various forms, which include traditional visual works such as drawing, painting, and digital art, as well as knitting, crochet and quilting, zines, writing, performances, and audiovisual works such as original music or short films. The Nest Artists also contribute artwork to enhance college spaces. Neema Kimondo '23, Tiana Sharpe '23, and Kiara Kaltschnee '23 painted an eight-wall mural for the Underground Coffeehouse in 2020, and there are also commissioned murals anticipated for the [[library|library]], the Charleston House, and La Eracra. | The Nest Artists held its first staple event, the TrinGala exhibition showcase, on April 8, 2022. An evolution of the library's popular "Long Night Against Procrastination" program in which students are encouraged to take a break from studying for finals, ProCRAFTination featured arts and crafting as activities. |
