Trinity College Council
The Trinity College Council, or TCC, was originally a 12 person advisory body to the President (though it grew to 22 people in 1970). The original 12 people was made up of four students, four administrators, and four faculty. It later included more administrators, faculty, as well as the introduction of a staff member, a parent, and alumni's.
The Council was established in 1968 by President Theodore Lockwood. This was in an effort to make campus government more democratic by creating a body that would be able to review campus policies before they hit the larger community. They reviewed issues of finical aid, the college rules,
